Democracy would face debacle if BNP comes to power again: PM
DHAKA, Jan 28 (BSS)- Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today made BNP responsible for disturbing the country's democratic system time and again and said the system faced trouble whenever BNP was in power. "People now enjoy their full freedom in exercising their voting rights, but the present scenario of allowing people casting their votes freely and fairly will face a debacle if BNP comes to power again," she said. The Prime Minister said this when addressing the leaders and workers of Lakkhipur district unit of Awami League (AL) at her official residence Gonobhaban here.
