DHAKA, Dec 23 (BSS) - The government has declared public
holiday in Comilla City Corporation (CCC) areas for mayoral
election on January 5 to facilitate the voters to exercise their
franchise.

All government, semi-government, autonomous bodies and
private offices under the CCC will be closed, official sources
said.

However, concerned teachers and employees will be out of the
holiday if there is any public examination on the day.
