DHAKA, March 25 (BSS) - World leaders, including British Queen Elizabeth II, today greeted President Zillur Rahman on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bangladesh.
In a message, British Queen said: "It gives me great pleasure to send Your Excellency my congratulations on the celebration of your National Day, together with my best wishes for the happiness and prosperity of the government and people of Bangladesh in the years to come."
Malaysian King Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah and Afghan President Hamid Karzai in separate messages also greeted Zillur Rahman and people of Bangladesh on the occasion of the Independence Day.
They wished for happiness, good health and long life of President Zillur Rahman and continued progress of the people of Bangladesh. |
