'Touch of brush of artists showed the path of new generation'
DHAKA, April 15 (BSS) - Information Minister Abul Kalam Azad urged the new generation to inspire with the spirit of patriotism through visiting the outstanding work of arts that showcasing at the national museum.

The minister said the touch of brush of artists always showed the path of new generation. He said this while addressing as the chief guest in the closing session of a four-day long Dhaka Art Summit, organised by Samdani Art Foundation here today.

The first time summit in the country was begun on April 12 where 38 representatives from different countries across the world were took part. A total of 249 paintings were display in 19 art galleries in the museum.

Renowned French art historian Gerard Juriguayara also spoke as the special guest while Chairman of the national museum Trustee Board Azizur Rahman in the chair the closing session.

Director-General of the National Museum Prakash Chandra Das, deputy managing director of the City Bank Limited Masrur Arefin, artist Shahabuddin Ahmed and director of Dhaka Art Summit Nadia Samdani, among others, spoke.
