Three-day art camp begins in Kolkata
DHAKA, Nov 16, 2013 (BSS) - A three-day art camp began at Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, India today.

The Bangladesh Deputy High Commission organized the camp
with the cooperation of Bengal Foundation Bangladesh where
renowned artists from Bangladesh and West Bengal, India, have
been participating.

Noted Bangladeshi Artist Quayum Chowdhury inaugurated the
camp on the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission premises today, an
official handout said here.

Bangladeshi artists Quayum Chowdhury, Rafiqunnabi, Monirul
Islam, Kalidas Karmokar, Farida Zaman and Tahera Chowdhury and
artists from West Bengal Sunil, Dhiraj Chowdhury, Shekhor Roy,
Chandana Hor, Sukhomoy Majumder, Kuntal Datta, Debashish Das and
Sumona Ghose, among others, are taking part in the art camp.

Speaking at the inaugural function, Bangladesh Deputy High
Commissioner to Kolkata Abida Islam said the existing bond of
cultural relations among the artists of both the countries would
be further cemented through the art camp.
