RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, March 12 (BSS) - Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Rajshahi University (RU) today launched its first practice newspaper named "Anudhhan" for the students of journalism in Bangladesh.

Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University Professor Abdus Sobhan unveiled the first copy of the newspaper while Pro-VC Professor Muhammad Nurullah, Dean of Social Sciences Faculty Professor Mizanuddin, Proctor Professor CM Zakaria, University Public Relations Director Professor Chittoranjan Misrow spoke on the occasion at Media Research Lab of the department.

Chairman of the Department Professor Moshihur Rahman presided over the session. Publishers of the newspaper said the students of fourth year and Master's will work for the practice newspaper.

After the unveiling of the paper, the department showed a documentary on Shoheed Professor Shamsuzzoha, which was directed by Sazzad Bokul, teacher of the same department.
