JERUSALEM, April 5 (BSS/AFP) - A rocket exploded overnight Wednesday in Israel's Red Sea resort town of Eilat, an army spokeswoman said.

"This rocket exploded in the town but there were no victims or damage," the spokeswoman said.

A police official confirmed on military radio that the rocket had been fired from the Sinai peninsula in Egyptian territory.
