BAGERHAT, Mar 10 (BSS)-Police in a series of raid in the last couple of days arrested 28 persons from different parts of the district suspecting their involvement in destructive activities.

Sources said Bagerhat Sadar police arrested several persons including vice president and general secretary of Bagerhat District Sechchasebok Dal Golam Mohiuddin and Md. Nilur Rahman Tarafdar on Thursday night.

Besides, the police arrested organizing secretary and a leader of Chitalmari Upazila Chhatra Dal Zakaria Milan and Belal Hossain Gazi from the town in early hours of Friday.
