MADARIPUR, Mar 31 (BSS)-Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said that present government has taken Taka 11, 473 crores master plan for dredging the rivers of the country.

Addressing the second reunion function-2012 of former students of Madaripur United Islamia school here today Shajahan Khan said meanwhile the government has sanctioned Taka 506 crore for the dredging of 12 river routes.

He said meanwhile the government has purchased three dredgers and will purchase 10 more soon for dredging purposes.
