RANGPUR, Apr 7 (BSS) - Abhijatrik Sahittya Sangskriti Sangshad (ASSS) of Rangpur organised a publication ceremony of the book 'Alok Pakhir Gane' written by Poet Nadira Anis here on Friday afternoon.

Chairman of the Bengali Department of Begum Rokeya University Prof Dr Sarifa Salwa Dina attended the ceremony at ASSP office as the chief guest with its President Advocate MA Basher Tipu in the chair.

Prof Dr Sarifa Salwa Dina, language movement veteran and Freedom Fighter Mir Anisul Haque Payara and Poet Nadira Anis jointly unveiled cover of the book in presence of a number of poets and literary personalities.

General Secretary of ASSP Sayeed Shahedur Rahman elaborately discussed on the life of the poet and her book 'Alok Pakhir Gane'.
