RAJSHAHI, April 10 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a member of the illicit Hijbut Tahrir from Talaimari crossing under Motiher Police Station in the city last night.

The arrested was identified as Shah Alif alias Prince, 24, son of Shah Jahan Ali of Taltala village under Chuadanga sadar upazila.

A patrol team of the elite force arrested him around 2 am. They also seized 150 leaflets of the insurgent organization from his possession.

Prince, a third year honors student of Physics Department of
Dhaka Titumir College, told the RAB that he came to Rajshahi for
launching their organizational activities through collecting new
members.

A case was filed in this connection.
