DINAJPUR, Apr 12 (BSS)- Ministry of Relief and Disaster Management allocated 7,321 tonnes of rice for the implementation of 836 projects in the district in the current season.

Official sources said Dianjpur District Administration implemented the projects including kancha roads, culverts,wooden and bamboo bridges repairing.

Besides, earthwork in different educational institutions including schools, Madrasas, Maktabs and other religious institutions were completed in 101 unions under 13 Upazilas of the district in this period.

All the projects were implemented by forming committees through the chairmen and members of 101 Union Parisads and the allocation was delivered in four installments, the sources said.
