KURIGRAM, April 16 (BSS)- An orientation meeting to implement the National Nutrition Programme was held at the conference room of Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Office on Sunday.

Ahmed, Mayor of Kurigram Pourashava Noor Islam, Upazila Nirbahi
Officer Kazi Abed Hossain and Health and Family Planning Officer
of Kurigram Sadar Upazila Dr Aminul Islam, among others addressed
the meeting.

The trainer of the National Nutrition Programme Dr Mehbuba
Sayeed presented a key paper in the meeting with Civil Surgeon of
Kurigram Dr Reazul Islam in the chair.

The speakers said the present government has taken a new
National Nutrition Programme with a cost of Taka one and half
crore.

They hoped the national nutrition problem will be solved
after implementation of the project by 2016.
