DHAKA, March 22 (BSS) - ICC President Sharad Pawar has congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team for reaching the final of the Asia Cup, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) sources said today.

In a telephonic conversation with BCB President AHM Mustafa Kamal today, the ICC President hailed the Bangladesh team's performance in the competition where they have defeated world champions India and former Cup winners Sri Lanka.

Pawar, who will not be able to attend today's final between Bangladesh and Pakistan due to official commitments also extended his best wishes to the finalists.
